More Camera Obscuras

With the installation of the Camera Obscura in the Tavira Tower in 1994, we’ve installed further Cameras Obscuras in Spain, Europe and across the Atlantic Ocean. The first Camera Obscura we installed after the one in Cádiz was in Lisbon, in April 1998 and the last one in Tudela in August 2007. At the moment we are working on various projects to install Camera Obsuras in Spanish cities.

APRIL 1998 - LISBON (Portugal)
Installed in the Tower of Ulises, in San Jorge castle.

MAY 1998 - JEREZ DE LA FRONTERA (Cadiz)
Installed in the monumental area of the Alcázar of Jerez, in the palace of Villavicencio.

MAY 1999 - HAVANA (Cuba)
This Camera Obscura was a present of the Deputation of Cádiz for the city of Havana. It is installed in an old building which was shortly restored.

MAY 2001 - ECIJA (Seville)
Installed in the upper part of the town hall in the city
centre of the city.

APRIL 2006 - SEVILLE
Installed in the Tower of Perdigones.

APRIL 2007 - SANTANDER
Installed for Cantur S.A. in the monument of the Indian, situated in Peña Cabarga.

Installed for the town hall of Tudela in the Tower of Monreal.

DECEMBER 2009 - JAEN
Installed in the Auditorium of Jaen.

AUGUST 2010 - BÉJAR (Salamanca)
Installed by Ayuntamiento de Béjar in the Palacio Ducal.
